Join us at 17:45 at our boat Sloep Marijn Joris, located at Strandzuid (behind the RAI). We’ll set off at 18:00 sharp to enjoy a scenic ride through Amsterdam’s canals with a refreshing beverage before arriving at our dinner location.

By now, everyone will have worked up an appetite, so we’ll dive into dinner. The team at NIM will serve a carefully curated multi-course menu, paired with good conversation and the chance to connect with new and valuable contacts from across the industry.

With its high ceilings, timeless interior and warm atmosphere, the venue blends historic charm with contemporary sophistication. Seasonal menus crafted by the in-house chef and a private canal-side entrance make NIM a hidden gem. The perfect backdrop for meaningful conversations and a memorable evening during IBC.

Dr. Jack Gao

Chairman

Jack is the Chairman of Whale TV, the TV operating system that enables consumers to find and watch entertainment on their TV. Prior to Whale TV Jack held various senior leadership roles in Wanda Group, Legendary Entertainment, News Corporation, Twenty-First Century Fox and was the first President of Microsoft China.

Teresa A. Lopez

VP, Whale TV+

Teresa Lopez is Vice President of Whale TV+, the company’s free streaming service available on both Whale TV models and other connected TV platforms. She oversees its growth and content strategy, working closely with studios and rights holders to deliver a curated mix of live and on-demand entertainment.

Lucas Huang

VP Content Acquisition, Whale TV

Lucas leads content partnerships for Whale TV, overseeing the expansion of the app ecosystem for the company’s smart and simple TV operating system. Before joining Whale TV, Lucas spent over 8 years at TP Vision, where he managed content acquisition for Philips Smart TVs. His career spans various roles in the consumer electronics and tech industry, including positions at HTC and BenQ. Lucas is based in Whale TV’s newly opened Amsterdam office and brings a strong track record in building lasting relationships with global content partners.

Chris Hock

VP Monetization

Chris leads the monetization strategy for Whale TV. Before that, Chris was General Manager of Primetime Advertising at Adobe and helped build one of the world’s largest addressable TV ad systems at BlackArrow. He also held leadership roles at Cadent and Macromedia/Adobe, where he led the Flash video business, pioneering early OTT video delivery.

Mike Duin

VP Global Marketing & Comms

Mike leads global marketing and communications at Whale TV, helping to build the brand’s international profile. Prior to Whale TV, he led international communications at Roku and held senior roles at Belkin and Cisco. With over 20 years of experience, Mike now drives Whale TV’s global positioning as streaming reshapes the TV industry.
